RME ADI-2 DAC FS

Following the great success of the ADI-2 Pro, RME presents the ADI-2 DAC absolute level converter designed for the hi-fi world

RME has modified some of the features of its top-of-the-range ADI-2 PRO converter, focusing on the most typical needs of high-fidelity enthusiasts. The ADI-2 DAC is naturally based on the same technology as its predecessor, but provides an important added value with regard to the quality of the D / A conversion which has been significantly improved.

The ADI-2 DAC features balanced, unbalanced outputs, an extremely powerful headphone amplifier and a very silent in-ear monitor output. The signal is processed via DSP and the output is adjustable; it supports SR up to 768 khz and can play DSD and Direct DSD files. This is the first RME device that uses the SteadyClock FS technology, able to reduce even more the jitter generated, thanks to an improvement of its second PLL circuit.

Compared to the PRO model, the device is supplied with a remote control with customizable functions and implements the autodark function so that after 10 seconds of inactivity the front display switches off automatically. These two requests for hi-fi enthusiasts have been accepted and developed for this new product that is destined to bring RME alongside the most famous brands of the audiophile's elite.
