The RME Fireface UFX II is an audio interface that offers excellent flexibility, adapting perfectly to any kind of audio application. With analog, ADAT, AES, SPDIF and USB 2 connections, a large number of channels are provided: 12 analog, 16 ADAT and 2 AES for a total of 30 input channels and 30 outputs. In addition, thanks to USB 2.0 support, the new Fireface UFX II can be integrated with RME's optional ARC USB remote control. With the ability to manage up to 60 audio channels (30 inputs and 30 outputs), support for sampling frequencies up to 192 kHz and the flexibility offered by the USB connection, the new Fireface UFX II is the ideal solution for a vast Range of applications: recording, mixing and monitoring.
RME Fireface UFX II incorporates high quality AD and DA converters, new optimized analog I / O circuits, which offer even better SNR and THD values than the previous model for a crystal clear and transparent audio signal. The design of new microphone preamps without attenuation PAD (which can accept input levels up to +18 dBu with a gain control that arrives at 75 dB) makes the interface perfect even for the most extreme situations. In addition, the new low impedance and high power (2 ohm) headphones outputs with a maximum output level of +19 dBu provide detail and output power and sufficient volume with any high or low impedance headphones. Fireface UFX II also supports Durec (Direct Recording on USB Stick), with a connector on the front panel of the interface. Further refined, with second-generation hardware for improved reliability and compatibility with USB devices, even with slower drives or multiple partitions.
