Indiana Line Diva 3 is a versatile 2-way project, refined down to the smallest details.

The designers mainly relied on the Diva 252 and Diva 262 bookshelf models. However, the Diva 3 model incorporates many improvements compared to the Indiana Line speakers previously available on the market, increasing the quality of the reproduced sound.

These improvements consist of technical solutions, materials and components.

Diva 3 is ideal for smaller rooms where positioning floorstanding speakers can be difficult

The traditions of the Indiana Line brand date back to 1977.

Over its years on the market, it has established itself as one of the most significant brands of Italian origin in the audio sector. Indiana Line's current product range mainly includes speaker systems and built-in speakers.

A fundamental objective of Indiana Line equipment designers is to combine the highest quality of workmanship with the rational use of components.

The result is designs that outperform models in the equivalent price range.

A NEW VERSION OF THE TOP DIVA SERIES

Among the Indiana Line models available on the market, the Diva series speakers occupy a special place.

This flagship product line in the brand's offering perfectly blends refined design with solid craftsmanship and high-quality sound reproduction.

The models in the new Diva series are characterized by mechanically and acoustically stable furniture and an elegant finish, making them perfect for any interior design.

The front panel of the speaker is painted with matt lacquer (white or black, depending on the color).

The rest of the furniture is covered with PVC veneer.

Two color options are available: a black front with a black cabinet body or a white front panel with an oak body.

SLIGHTLY ANGLED CABINET FRONT

The Diva 3 model is a speaker with a cabinet made up of two parts made of MDF.

The first part is a 25mm thick front panel, which increases the mechanical stability of the cabinet and prevents unwanted resonances, thus improving the clarity of the sound.

There is a bass reflex port on the front, which allows you to place the speaker close to the wall.

The set includes a foam cap that helps control the level of low frequencies and allows users to adjust the sound to their preferences.

The front is slightly sloped, thinner at the bottom and deeper at the top.

The attractive design is highlighted by the acoustically transparent grille, with magnetic attachment.

SPEAKERS WITH AN IMPROVED DESIGN

The Diva 3 bookshelf midwoofer features a new speaker basket design.

The ribs are now slimmer, allowing free flow of air around the back of the membrane, reducing unwanted resonances.

The basket was specifically designed for a perfect collaboration with the new proprietary Dual-Wave suspension, guaranteeing both excellent sound quality and a peculiar aesthetic result.

MIDWOOFER WITH CURVED MEMBRANE

The 15cm mid-bass driver of the Diva 3 2-way speaker features a Curv (polypropylene composite) diaphragm, which delivers a natural sound with precisely processed low frequencies.

It is worth noting that these membranes are produced exclusively for Indiana Line on special order.

COMPUTER-OPTIMIZED SPEAKER DESIGN

The magnetic circuit of the mid-woofer has been optimized using finite element analysis (FEA) to improve performance over the widest possible range of amplitudes and frequencies.

The magnetic core of the transducer is highly saturated, reducing the coil inductance and eliminating distortion caused by variations in inductance.

Furthermore, the inductance is linearised, as in many other Indiana Line models, using a demodulation ring called Aluring.

Thanks to this, the sound remains transparent and clear, regardless of the volume level, and the speakers are not afraid to reproduce even the most demanding songs or musical genres.

CONE SUSPENSION – DUAL-WAVE

The Indiana Line Diva 3 speaker's low-midrange driver features a precision-engineered Dual-Wave surround, which expands the range of the speaker's linear operation.

This reduction in distortion, including intermodulation distortion, results in improved articulation across the entire range, from bass to midrange of the acoustic band.

This improvement is evident in the sound of a wide range of instruments, particularly percussion, stringed instruments and acoustic instruments.

Dual-Wave suspension also reduces uneven frequency response resulting from resonances at the edge of the midwoofer diaphragm.

In addition, the Dual-Wave suspension has an exceptional aesthetic appearance, reminiscent of professional stage equipment that employs pleated canvas suspensions.

MODIFIED TWEETER WITH NEW FLANGE

The Diva 3 tweeter features an exclusive radial damping chamber, a distinctive feature of Indiana Line speakers.

It surrounds the transducer voice coil, allowing natural treble sound reproduction and eliminating unwanted resonances typical of conventional tweeter designs.

The front part of the tweeter is made of aluminum and has an optimally shaped rubber surface, which shapes the dispersion of high frequencies and allows it to fill the listening room.

COMPUTER-OPTIMIZED CROSSOVER

The speaker crossover for the Diva 3 model has been optimized by computer.

Thanks to this, it was possible to predict and verify the behavior of this important component of the speaker before creating the physical crossover.

Its simple but unique topology was chosen specifically for the Diva 3 model and the electroacoustic transducers used, and was subjected to many hours of listening tests to confirm the effects obtained. The result is a balanced frequency response, low distortion and minimal power losses.

Proper parameter adjustment, with a minimum impedance of 4 ohms, means that the speaker can work with virtually any amplifier.

The filter section of the tweeter uses exclusively air coils and thin film capacitors, eliminating unwanted distortions that often occur with electrolytic capacitors or ferrite core coils.
