Magnus Power is a Hi-Fi power cord designed and manufactured by hand in Italy. It is based on 4.3 mm2 conductors in 7N MASC copper with polyethylene dielectrics and external shield in braided copper.
Finished with the brand new connectors with Copper Contacts with solid-turned one-piece alloy body. With these connectors there is an improvement in electrical parameters of over 30% compared to common brass connectors. 24K Gold Plated with specific Gold / Copper electrolysis technique.

More than two years ago we introduced AM-RCC conductors in our Power cables and the result was extraordinary. From that moment we worked for a further improvement of our drivers, because despite the result was already excellent, we had glimpsed margins for a significant improvement.
From these studies the new conductor MARC © was born, acronym of Multicore Annealed Ricable Conductor, which characterizes the entire production Magnus, Dedalus and Invictus.
The improvements have made it possible to produce a copper conductor with a purity of 7N (99.9999%), which is more malleable than the previous one, thanks to a 25% reduction in grains per meter compared to AM-RCC. This productive implementation allowed to produce smoother strands on the surface, more ductile and of smaller diameter.
The advantages that derive from it are the following:
1. Greater quantity of raw material: the conductor wires are thinner and in greater quantity, with the same section, and consequently, with the same conductor surface, we have a greater quantity of copper
2. Felling Skin Effect: By increasing the number of wires of the conductor and reducing the grains of the processed copper with consequent compacting of the surface, a substantial reduction of the skin effect is achieved, which in audio applications is one of the causes of greater acoustic signal degradation .
3. Resistance abatement: Another effect of the increase in the decrease in the diameter of the wires, with the increase in the amount of copper that ensues, also the electrical resistance has been considerably reduced.
4. Flexibility: Copper MARC ©, in addition to the acoustic and electrical benefits, has allowed to improve cable flexibility up to 70% compared to OFC copper.
5. Acoustics: The new MARC © process, combined with the other innovations introduced, produces in the sound greater transparency, better detail, a more characterized Soundstage, all while maintaining the neutrality that has always distinguished our production.
When we started to see the great results that the new MARC © conductor could give, our research focused on developing connectors that could enhance the new cables we were developing. It is well known that the connector is a focal point in the transmission of the audio signal, where the use of conventional brass connectors can lose even 50% of the performance of a connection, so we immediately started the project called RCCP, as our goal was to build new connectors with pure copper contacts.
The challenge was particularly difficult because it was a matter of redesigning all the connectors taking into account the greater softness of the copper, which does not adapt to the production of the connectors, as often the contact points are very thin and can be subject to bending.
After a job that lasted over two years, we can assert that Ricable is the first cable manufacturer that makes a whole series of Hi-Fi Audio cables (Invictus series) with all-copper connectors and for the two minor series, the connectors are completely copper in most products, except for some exceptions, where it was necessary to use a copper-Tellurium alloy, which in any case is a much higher conductor than the brass that is generally used in Hi-Fi connectors.
All the connectors of the Magnus, Dedalus and Invictus series are designed and designed by us and are manufactured individually using a specific CNC CNC technique, readapted for the use of copper as raw material.
Parts that are not made of copper, such as bodies and plastic components, all adopt solutions designed to improve and safeguard the contact points.
The result of this meticulous work is impressive. From the tests we have conducted, there has been an improvement in the transmission of electrical parameters by more than 40% compared to the brass connectors and this has led to a clear improvement even in listening.
All connectors are 24K Gold plated with a specific Gold / Copper electrolysis technique to prevent corrosion and maintain performance over time.
With the advent of the new range, Ricable has introduced a series of important innovations, carrying out a prototyping work supported by technical studies, in order to choose materials and construction techniques to be combined with the new conductors and connectors, thus completing the production of innovative and more performing cables in every use of the system.
The most innovative technologies have been implemented in the Invictus series, however even the smaller series have the benefit of studies derived from the top of the range, in order to achieve a scaled range for needs and characteristics.
The most important technological innovations concern constructive geometries, insulation and shielding.
With the advent of the new MARC © conductors, we have developed new ways of establishing multi-stranded conductors and new rules for interfacing with insulators and shielding. The objective is to improve the electrical specifications, which, depending on the type of audio cable, influence the sound performance. In particular, we have studied conductive surfaces specific for the type of cable and distortion strings with the Crank-Handle system that allow Twistature without stretching the conductors.
In dielectric and non-electric insulators, we have included new materials, generally not used in the production of Hi-Fi cables, demonstrating our attitude to unconventional experimentation. Among the major innovations, the use of new thermoplastic compounds that allow to obtain better dielectric specifications of polyethylene and a greater flexibility to PVC, as well as better preserving the characteristics of contact copper. Another important novelty is the inclusion in some models of a material based on Germanium that improves in an impressive way the background noise in the audio signal (RNR System).
The development work on the screens of the new range has been a continuation of past studies. We have identified in each project what were the most effective shielding, both for structure and material, in order to determine efficient and never superfluous screens.

The Invictus, Dedalus and Magnus cables are produced with very specific dictates from a technical point of view, but their story is much more romantic.
It begins on an autumn afternoon, where the inspiration for producing a range of refined cables, made with care by expert and passionate hands, with avant-garde technical and acoustic features and a unique, more distinctive and personal design, was born. end of producing high quality handicrafts.
The technological solutions, the design, the testing, the production, the packaging, derive completely from our vision of product and from the experience acquired over the years in this sector.

In fact, the creation of a new research and development department, specifically designed to develop Invictus, Dedalus and Magnus, will have the constant objective of experimenting with new solutions to guarantee the best Hi-Fi cables of today and tomorrow.
