Reference MKII changes skin.
The new MKII version of the Invictus Speaker Reference by Ricable offers a more flexible cable, making installation easier and reducing mechanical stress on the connections. The improvement of the main R-TEC dielectric optimizes the electrical transfer, ensuring a cleaner and more detailed audio signal. Furthermore, the redefined design, in line with the Reference series, not only enriches your Hi-Fi system with a refined aesthetic, but enhances its magnificence, transforming each system into a work of sound and visual art.
The sound output is characterized by a marked improvement in dynamics and control, full-bodied and firm bass, well defined, always a great feeling of cleanliness and no listening fatigue. The voices well separated from the musical fabric allow you to reach a new level of soundstage, with all the instruments well placed on their respective sound planes.
When Substance Makes the Difference.
From an aesthetic point of view, little has changed, the Reference can be recognized from the previous Invictus by its larger size and the non-magnetic/shielded carbon cable separation block, but in substance it is a completely different cable. The conductors, still in 7N Marc Copper, increase, going from 970 to 1,038 wires, which make up, together with the central conductor insulated with polymer, each 7.6 mm2 hexaphonic conductor.
The real innovation is in the double dielectric, made with two newly developed R-TEC polymers, capable of significantly improving the dielectric constant and, consequently, the flow of the audio signal in the form of a low voltage electrical signal, and at the same time favoring the functionality of the semiconductor (RNR Noise Reduction), which has also been improved.
Innovation merges with tradition.
A Germanium semiconductor (RNR Ricable Noise Reduction Technology), improved in effectiveness, on all conductors reduces background noise and the hiss generated by audio supports. The conductors are in the traditional Hexaphonic Geometry with 1,038 0.08 mm wires structured in triple twist on a central conductor insulated with polymer.
Another important step has been taken in terms of insulation and shielding. We have introduced a new insulating material in the cable, in combination with treated cotton. This operation has allowed us to further strengthen the double shielding, without this intervention altering the electrical characteristics of the conductors, thus further increasing the degree of neutrality and transparency in sound reproduction.
