Mark Levinson N° 5909, are the first wireless headphones of the American brand. They are headphones with over-ear pavilions, use 40mm beryllium-coated drivers with adaptive ANC to reduce background noise and feature high-resolution 5.1 LDAC Bluetooth connectivity.

Mark Levinson has created a wireless headphone of extreme quality, which uses all the latest technologies known, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity with LDAC, AAC and aptX ™ Adaptive (24bit / 96KHz) technologies and which promises an excellent quality sound performance together with a practicality of record use.

Active noise cancellation can count on three different modes: for example with the Ambient Aware mode it will be possible to walk around the city while maintaining a good degree of attention to what surrounds us.

The four microphones, which adopt Smart Wind Adaption technology, guarantee clear calls even in situations that are particularly difficult for conversation, such as strong wind.

The structure of the headset â „- 5909 is made of anodized aluminum with metal pavilions. The headband and the removable pads of the pavilions are upholstered in leather. Each pavilion houses a 40mm beryllium-coated driver, with optimized emission according to the Harman Curve.

Harman Curve is a kind of "optimal sonic signature" and is one of the best frequency response standards for enjoying music on headphones. Compared to a flat response, the Harman curve is characterized by slightly emphasized bass and highs (a few dB on each end of the band), a setting that provides a more pleasant sound performance to the ears of many enthusiasts.

The battery life varies according to the type of use: with ANC inserted it is around 30 hours, while without it it is 34 hours. With a quick recharge of about 15 minutes, you get an additional autonomy of about 6 hours, which is very convenient for those who are always on the road for work or otherwise.

An Android and iOs application is available for free to control the headset functions from your smartphone.

Among the salient technical features we remember: a variable frequency response depending on the type of connection. 20-20,000 Hz (wireless mode) and 10-40,000 Hz (wired mode). The sensitivity is 97 dB, the impedance of 32 Ohms and the weight of 340 grams.
