It is the network player Cambridge Audio CXN, latest in the English house after the worldwide success of StreamMagic, in turn changing the parent Sonata NP30.
Aesthetically characterized by a modern style and a comfortable 4.3-inch color display, this network player on board features two Wolfson WM8740 DAC capable of 24/192 canons and to work in upsampling up to 24-bit / 384 kHz. The chip itself is used by the DacMagic, but here there are available two, one for each channel.
The DAC can also work in the service of other devices connected via the two optical inputs available.
Life easier for lovers of wireless connections and streaming services: Internet Radio, Spotify Connect, Airplay and Bluetooth aptX are ready for use, even via App (Cambridge Connect).
The XLR outputs, in addition to the classic RCA, have a touch of class to the Cambridge Audio CXN.
