Built-in iFi Technologies

Since 2012, with the launch of the first iPhone, IFI AUDIO has adopted an internal filter, the Subsonic. Since at very low frequencies, with a true and reproducible low-pass filter, only a small amount of vertical modulation remains, it is assumed that the “vertical modulation” at low frequencies is actually distortion.

By fully understanding the cutting and playback processes of vinyl records, this distortion can be effectively filtered out without compromising the low frequencies or introducing group delays

Similar to many other iFi audio products, a custom OV series op amp has been integrated. This high-quality component helps ensure extremely low noise, 0.0001% distortion, and a wide bandwidth

TDK C0G (Class 1) ceramic capacitors offer high stability and low losses for resonant circuit applications.

By moving ever closer to the theoretical ideal of pure, constant-frequency capacitance, these capacitors reduce capacitor-induced distortion to virtually nonexistent levels. They are expensive, but a perfect addition to quality products.

In music production, dynamic range is the difference between the loudest and the quietest sounds. It is measured in decibels, or dB for short. In a single audio track, dynamic range is the difference in dB between the loudest and the quietest moments in the audio file.

You can think of dynamic range in a system as the space between the noise floor and the clipping point. When a sound drops below the noise floor, it will not be possible to distinguish between the signal and the noise floor of the media system. When a sound exceeds the clipping point, the peaks of its waveform will be severely cut off, causing harshness and distortion.
