Donatello was born from the idea of ​​designing an MC cartridge with an aluminum shell that offers the best build and sonic quality we are capable of but at the same time is light enough to be easily mounted on different types of arm.

The result exceeded all expectations.

After two years of research and development, Donatello is born:

a refined body in machined from solid aluminum generated with the help of a sophisticated algorithm that has made it possible to reduce the weight of the head to just 7 grams, while maintaining a highly damping structure ideal for obtaining high tracking capacity in all conditions use.

Donatello's ultra-rigid aluminum cantilever allows you to take advantage of all the characteristics of the high-precision diamond with Micro Elliptical cut developed in collaboration with the Japanese company Adamant-Namiki, a leader in the sector.

The technical solutions adopted for Donatello are derived directly from our top-of-the-range models: the rigidity of the system is guaranteed through the use of a telescopic titanium rod that supports the reinforced aluminum cantilever, the extra long pins are gilded to allow correct signal transmission, avoiding dispersions and drastically improving the yield for a truly natural and faithful reproduction in every detail.

The Donatello series is also characterized by a high impedance that allows coupling with both MM and MC phono preamps, making the use of Step Up transformers unnecessary.
