Unison Research PRELUDIUM Class A hi-fi integrated tube amplifier with KT88 ECC82 valves and toroidal transformer. The tube preamplification and the anode power supply are direct current thanks to the anode current of the power stage tubes. Its voltage is regulated by a dedicated power supply, which allows for a general improvement by optimizing space and reducing heat. Each channel of the PRELUDIO has a preamp stage, a power stage and an output transformer. The preamplification and power stages depend on the ECC82 double triode, a valve that keeps the sound linear and eliminates all harmonic distortions. The amplifier features an active low impedance subwoofer output with volume boost. Its outputs, however, are for both channels thanks to its gold-plated connectors, suitable for any type of cable to be able to connect speakers with a nominal impedance of 8 Ohm.
