ATC C1 Sub Mk2 is the active subwoofer of the Entry Series, with 31 cm down-firing woofer with integrated class AB amplifier of 200 W power, ideal for completing the sound experience of Hi Fi or Home Cinema systems; available in Cherry, Black Ash, White Satin and Black Satin finishes.

ATC C1 Mk2 is the active subwoofer of the Entry Series – the ideal partner for the SCM19 or SCM40 loudspeakers – but it is also designed to accompany the HTS on-wall loudspeakers of the same historical brand.

The Sub C1 Mk2 is derived from the subwoofer of the famous C1 5.1 surround system, and is designed for both Hi Fi music reproduction and to complete the sound experience in Home Cinema applications.

The C1 Mk2 subwoofer incorporates a 12-inch – 314 mm – ATC proprietary woofer with a 76 mm voice coil and a powerful motor with oversized magnet, handcrafted and rigorously “handcrafted”.

The driver faces downwards, in the so-called down-firing configuration, so that it can be easily positioned within your listening spaces.

It is an active subwoofer: it integrates a 200 Watt class AB Mosfet amplifier with grounding and overload protection circuits for greater control at full power.

The small sized cabinet is solid and robust, internally reinforced to dampen any unwanted vibrations and uses the closed case principle, in air suspension, with a total weight of no less than 26.2 kg. The available finishes are Satin Black, Satin White, Black Ash and Cherry.

The low-pass filter circuitry has been completely reworked to facilitate the best possible integration with the other speakers in the system.

There are high level inputs for direct connection via power cables and stereo RCA analogue inputs – low level “Line In” – for connection with traditional signal cables; there is also a line output RCA connector to facilitate connection to several subwoofers in series (Daisy-chaining).

We recommend completing the system with high quality cables for maximum performance. Chord Company cables that guarantee extraordinary sharpness and sonic transparency, a philosophy fully shared by ATC. The most suitable lines for the class to which they belong are Clearway and Shawline.

It can therefore be connected to the analog outputs of amplifiers equipped with Sub outputs or directly via the high level inputs.

Capable of a transparent and linear extension down to 25Hz, providing dynamic and detailed bass response with minimal distortion.
