SIA2-100 – the compact Hi End integrated amplifier from ATC

ATC's SIA2-100 is an extremely versatile Hi End level integrated amplifier, capable of driving small and medium sized speakers with extreme authority, precision and control, and designed as the ideal partner of the Entry Series of the same brand .

Hand built in the UK to the highest ATC standards with the aim of extremely analytical, transparent and detailed reproduction.

The heart of SIA2-100 is a class AB amplifier with 100 W per channel (into 8 Ohm) with an extraordinarily dynamic and powerful performance.

The output stage derived from the amplification modules of the Classic Series speakers, is made of discrete components - with two pairs of MOSFETs per side - characterized by a wide frequency response and extremely low distortion.

A peak limiter protects the speakers in case of Overdrive and the amplification and preamp sections have separate power supplies for better signal management.

SIA2-100 offers all the connectivity required by the most technological music lovers.

The selection of inputs occurs via a special button on the front panel and the adjustment of the output volume via a precision potentiometer.

All SIA2-100 functions can also be managed via the remote control - included in the package.

The sober style makes it easily combinable with any other Hi Fi component, while the compact dimensions make it easily positionable in any domestic space.

Wide versatility

Among the analog inputs, we find two stereo RCA Line In inputs on the rear panel and a 3.5 mm minijack input on the front panel for connecting small portable devices. For digital sources, an optical Toslink input, a coaxial S/PDIF and a USB type B are offered.

The heart of the digital sources is a high-quality AKM DAC capable of supporting up to 32 bit 384kHz and native DSD256 decoding for PC and DSD128 for Mac, complemented by a class A headphone amplifier.

Among the power outputs we find two pairs of 4 mm connectors for connecting a single pair of speakers, and a headphone output mounted on the front panel with a 6.35 mm jack socket.

We recommend the use of high quality cables such as those from Chord Company, which guarantee extraordinary clarity and sound transparency, a philosophy fully shared by ATC.

Through the stereo RCA output positioned on the rear panel it is possible to connect a power amplifier to increase the power reserve or to facilitate bi-amplification, for example ATC P1 150 W per channel or ATC P2 300 W.

It is possible to connect an active Subwoofer to the same output to complete the listening experience: the ideal partner together with the Entry Series speakers is the C1 Sub Mk2. The SIA2-100 integrated amplifier is designed to match perfectly with the ATC CD2 player, which recalls its fabulous lines and dimensions, but can be combined with any other source.
