Starling is a real Star
I changed from Hana SL to Sumiko Starling, and everything I loved on Hana is topped by Starling. Voices and instruments are straight staying in my room. Exactly as they were there. Can't imagine getting a better sound anyway now. My audio chain is: Project RPM10 Carbon-Magnat RV3 with Siemens valves-Tannoy Revolution XT6F playing on fixed 470 Ohm without any other Pre-amp. And it sounds great... in my ears! Everybody has its own taste and preferences. I prefer dry bass-lines and bright and clear sound the musical way. And that's what the Sumiko Starling is offering me in suberb quality.
Before mounting it I took a look through 450x microscope: the cartridge is manufactured perfect.
A real beauty too!
