RPM 3 Carbon, the new budget turntable from Pro-Ject
This new RPM 3 Carbon is a very interesting product and is equipped with a 10" carbon arm, also in the 2M Silver version.
Q/P ratio champion To enrich the already vast range of turntables in the RPM series, this new RPM 3 Carbon, which joins the RPM 1 Carbon and the more pretentious RPM 5.1, RPM 9.1 Acryl, RPM 9.2 Evolution and RPM 10.1 Evolution.
It therefore completes the range in the bass, which actually had a significant price gap between the first step, the RPM 1 Carbon (recently introduced), and the RPM 5.1
Further news from the capacious cylinder of Heinz Lichtenegger, owner of Pro-Ject, the Austrian company which has long since become the leading turntable manufacturer in the world, with the enviable record of 10,000 pieces/month of machines produced.</ p>
It's called RPM 3 Carbon, therefore, available both in the version without head and in the RPM 3 Carbon 2M Silver version with the well-known Ortofon high-performance cartridge.
External motor decoupled from the chassis with ultra-precise DC/AC power supply, belt drive with manually switchable 33/45 rpm speed, MDF platter with vinyl matte and 10" carbon S-arm.

But that's not all, as the RPM 3 Carbon adopts a ceramic ball bearing, counterweight with TPE damping and magnetic anti-skating. The latter is an important facility, given that the one with nylon cable and counterweight, although equally efficient, proved inconvenient to use, especially for a turntable without a base like this RPM 3 Carbon.
Obviously the sonic performances, above all thanks to the decidedly high-performance arm, are of a high level for a turntable that will never cease to amaze due to the incredible quality/price ratio, even more accentuated in the version with 2M Silver head.

Available in black, red or white all lacquered, RPM 3 Carbon is equipped with gold-plated rear RCA connectors.
