The RS Edition model features a belt drive, 24v motor and a High Pressure Laminate (HPL) platter. The High Pressure Laminate (HPL) platter, usually reserved for the Planar 6, Planar 8 and Planar 10 models, provides greater rigidity. Furthermore, this top of the range HPL has a superb dark brushed aluminium finish with a beautiful satin finish. The supplied Neo MK2 power supply serves to reduce motor noise. This legendary turntable can play LPs and 45s (switching is manual). Finally, this superb Planar 3 turntable features the fantastic Rega Nd5 advanced moving magnet cartridge.

The RB330 tonearm on the Rega Planar 3 RS Edition vinyl turntable features a high degree of stability and a friction reduction system for an optimal musical experience. It also features an automatic anti-skating system and adjustable pressure via the counterweight.

Finally, the installation can be completed with an external amplifier via the RCA connectors.
