The Marantz CD 70 features a gold-plated stereo RCA analogue output for connection to an integrated amplifier or preamplifier. Optical and coaxial digital outputs are also available for integration with external DACs and other digital components.

The ability to disable the digital output allows the configuration to be optimized when this section of the player is not required.
