The Monitor Audio Silver Centre 8G is the centre speaker designed to complete Silver 8G Home Cinema systems, delivering exceptionally precise and natural reproduction of dialogue, voices and sound effects. Its 3-way configuration, featuring dual C-CAM RST III woofers, a dedicated midrange driver and a C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, provides a stable and perfectly focused soundstage at the centre of the screen.

The Silver Centre 8G uses two 6" C-CAM RST III drivers, a 3" C-CAM RST III midrange and a 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter. This architecture effectively separates the different frequency ranges, allowing the midrange driver to focus on the region that is fundamental for voice reproduction and ensuring clear, intelligible dialogue even during the most dynamic scenes.

The sealed cabinet provides a controlled low-frequency response and promotes seamless integration with a subwoofer, while Through-Bolt Technology increases cabinet rigidity and helps reduce unwanted resonances.

Clear and Perfectly Focused Dialogue

In a Home Cinema system, the centre channel plays a fundamental role in voice reproduction. The Silver Centre 8G has been designed specifically to ensure maximum speech intelligibility while maintaining natural and accurate tonal reproduction.

The dedicated 3" midrange driver allows the vocal range to be handled by a transducer specifically optimized for this task. The two side-mounted woofers handle the lower frequencies, while the Gold Dome tweeter completes reproduction with extended high frequencies and excellent detail.

3-Way Architecture

The three-way configuration is one of the defining features of the Silver Centre 8G. The two 6" C-CAM RST III drivers handle the bass section, the 3" C-CAM RST III midrange driver reproduces the midrange and the 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter handles the high frequencies.

The result is a balanced and precise presentation, particularly effective for dialogue, soundtracks and complex cinematic effects. The 620 Hz and 3 kHz crossover points allow the three driver groups to work together in a coordinated and coherent manner.

Sealed Cabinet and Through-Bolt Technology

The Silver Centre 8G uses a sealed cabinet, without a bass-reflex port. This solution promotes precise and controlled low-frequency reproduction and makes it easier to integrate the speaker with the subwoofer in a Home Cinema system.

Through-Bolt Technology also helps reinforce the structure and limit cabinet resonances, preserving the cleanliness of the sound and the accuracy of the acoustic image.

Perfect for the Silver 8G Range

The Monitor Audio Silver Centre 8G has been developed to integrate perfectly with the main speakers in the Silver 8G range, including the Silver 50 8G, Silver 100 8G, Silver 300 8G and Silver 500 8G. This allows you to create a Home Cinema system with precise tonal consistency between the centre channel and the other speakers.

The dimensions of 205 x 511 x 272 mm also make it easy to position below or in front of the screen while maintaining a relatively compact footprint considering the performance offered.
