ELAC SOLANO FS-287.2 - PAIR

ELAC Solano FS 287.2 – High-End 2.5-Way Floorstanding Speakers with JET 6 Tweeter (Pair)

The ELAC Solano FS 287.2 is the flagship floorstanding loudspeaker of the Solano 2.0 Series, a range developed and manufactured in Germany to deliver audiophile-grade performance, refined aesthetics and technologies derived from ELAC's prestigious Vela and Concentro loudspeaker families.

Designed for demanding music lovers, the FS 287.2 combines exceptional detail retrieval with impressive dynamics, creating an engaging listening experience for both stereo music systems and premium home theater installations.

At the heart of the design is the renowned JET 6 Air Motion Transformer, the latest evolution of ELAC's legendary hand-built tweeter. Thanks to its ultra-light moving mass and extremely fast transient response, the JET 6 delivers remarkable transparency, openness and high-frequency detail far beyond the capabilities of conventional dome tweeters.

The midrange and bass frequencies are reproduced by two 150 mm AS (Aluminium Sandwich) woofers. This advanced cone technology combines aluminum and composite materials to achieve an ideal balance of rigidity, low mass and internal damping, resulting in deep, controlled bass and exceptionally natural midrange performance.

The bass reflex enclosure is constructed from high-density MDF and features a gently curved front baffle with large-radius cabinet edges designed to minimize diffraction and improve sound dispersion. The elegant high-gloss finish further enhances the premium appearance of the speaker.

With its ability to create a wide, three-dimensional soundstage and reproduce music with remarkable realism and authority, the Solano FS 287.2 is an ideal choice for listeners seeking a sophisticated high-end floorstanding loudspeaker.

This listing is available in High Gloss Black and High Gloss White finishes.
