Classic elegance, clear and engaging sound

The Nota 5 is Indiana Line’s new floorstanding loudspeaker, carrying on the legacy of the renowned 550X model. The designers have managed to achieve an even more musical and immediate character in this updated design. It is an excellent choice for those wanting high-fidelity performance even in modestly sized rooms. Thanks to the front-firing bass reflex port, the speaker can be positioned close to the rear wall without sacrificing bass clarity. Two 150 mm mid-bass drivers, optimized in a two-way configuration, deliver a wide, coherent, and crystal-clear soundstage.

    Refined Classic Elegance

The latest generation of the Nota series stands out for its simple yet refined design, blending seamlessly into every living space. The side panels come in two elegant finishes: natural oak or black oak, while the rest of the enclosure is finished in durable matte black, resistant to scratches and everyday marks. Subtly rounded edges add a sense of visual lightness, highlighting its timeless appearance. The baffle features refined trim rings that hide the driver hardware for maximum aesthetic care.

    Sophisticated Electroacoustic Drivers

All drivers are engineered and selected to provide maximum sonic precision and musicality. Treble is handled by a 26 mm fabric dome tweeter, with a high-efficiency neodymium magnet and radial damping chamber. Its dedicated waveguide optimizes dispersion and perfectly integrates the tweeter with the two mid-bass drivers – both 150 mm units with cones made of a polypropylene and mica blend (the same material found in the higher-end Tesi series), with upgraded suspension and large ferrite magnets. This combination delivers superb detail, articulation, and a clean, musical midrange.

    Advanced Acoustic Engineering

Inside, the cabinet conceals several technical features designed for audiophile results: the mid-bass drivers are fitted with oversized magnets for deep, controlled bass; the MDF enclosure uses horizontal braces and damping materials to eliminate unwanted resonances. The redesigned crossover includes air coils in the tweeter section for a linear and balanced frequency response. The speaker’s friendly impedance makes it easy to drive and perfectly compatible with most amplifiers, always delivering dynamic, immersive sound.
