MONITOR AUDIO SILVER ON-WALL 8G

Monitor Audio Silver On-Wall 8G – Hi-Fi and Home Cinema Wall-Mount Speaker

The Monitor Audio Silver On-Wall 8G is a compact speaker designed to deliver high-end Hi-Fi performance while taking up an extremely small amount of space. Thanks to its design specifically developed for wall mounting, it can be installed either horizontally or vertically, making it a particularly versatile solution for environments where traditional floorstanding or standmount speakers cannot be used.

The 2-way configuration combines a 6" C-CAM RST III driver for the mid-bass range with a 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter featuring UD Waveguide II. The result is detailed, natural and dynamic sound, with an extended frequency response up to 35 kHz and surprisingly deep bass reproduction considering the particularly slim cabinet design.

The Silver On-Wall 8G is suitable for both stereo listening and Home Cinema systems, where it can be used as a front, centre or surround speaker. Pairing it with a subwoofer also allows the low-frequency response to be extended further.

High-End Hi-Fi Without Compromising on Space

The Silver On-Wall 8G has been developed to address one of the most common requirements in modern homes: achieving genuine Hi-Fi quality without having to dedicate space to traditional floorstanding or standmount speakers.

With a cabinet depth of just 135 mm, the speaker can remain very close to the wall, integrating discreetly into the room. The mounting system is integrated directly into the speaker, providing a neat and secure installation.

The possibility of installing it either vertically or horizontally further increases configuration flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, from traditional stereo systems to multichannel Home Cinema setups.

6" C-CAM RST III Driver

At the heart of the Silver On-Wall 8G is the 6" C-CAM RST III driver, developed by Monitor Audio to provide high cone rigidity together with a precise and controlled response. RST III technology helps reduce diaphragm deformation, improving definition and naturalness throughout the reproduction.

Despite the compact cabinet dimensions, the speaker reaches down to 44 Hz, providing surprisingly full low-frequency performance for a wall-mounted speaker. For Home Cinema applications or listeners seeking greater deep-bass extension, the Silver On-Wall 8G can easily be paired with a subwoofer.

C-CAM Gold Dome with UD Waveguide II

The 25 mm C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter provides precise and detailed high-frequency reproduction. UD Waveguide II technology optimizes dispersion and contributes to a wide and natural soundstage, maintaining high definition even with complex musical material.

Silent Flow Port Technology

The Silent Flow Port system has been designed to improve airflow management inside the bass-reflex port, reducing turbulence and unwanted noise. The result is cleaner and more controlled bass reproduction, particularly important in a speaker designed to be installed very close to the wall.

Ideal for Stereo and Home Cinema

The versatility of the Silver On-Wall 8G allows it to be used in different roles within an audio system. It can serve as a front stereo speaker, as part of a Home Cinema system or as a surround speaker.

Its tonal integration with the other models in the Monitor Audio Silver 8G series also allows coherent multichannel systems to be created, using the Silver On-Wall 8G whenever minimizing speaker footprint is a priority.
