Dynaudio Emit 25C: the center channel for multi-channel systems

The Dynaudio Emit 25C is the center channel of the new Dynaudio line. As we know the center channel is the most important component of a surround sound system. All movie dialogues are transferred to our ears right through the drivers of the central unit. The focal point of a soundtrack also passes through the center channel. The importance of a quality component such as the Dynaudio Emit 25C is therefore obvious.

The Dynaudio Emit 25C is essentially an Emit 30, turned on its side. The drivers are the same; the crossover is the same, with different box and port-tuning. But this is obviously a plus. It means that total coherence is possible between the center speaker and the two flanking it, whether they are Emit 10, 20, 30 or even 50.

Mid-Bass Speakers: Top Quality

Dynaudio Emit 25C employs the same 14cm woofer made in MSP used in both Emit 10 and Emit 30. MSP is the acronym of Magnesium Silicate Polymer. It is a material developed decades ago at Dynaudio and is continuously updated and finely tuned for use in all series, including Confidence, Heritage Special, Contour i and many more.

MSP beautifully combines stiffness, lightness and damping qualities, ideal for reproducing your favorite music in the most natural way, exactly as the artist recorded it. Each cone is made from one piece with the dust dome integrated (and not inserted as a separate body). The “ribs” seen on the crown of the dome in the center are connected directly to the voice coil, so that the entire mechanism can move as one piece, bringing with it a control and detail never felt before.

The voice coil is made with aluminum winding covered with a very thin layer of copper. Danish engineers used aluminum on the two-ply fiberglass spool because its weight does not impede or interfere with the movement of the spool-cone structure. The copper layer allows for greater efficiency by making better use of the magnetic energy generated by the double structure ferrite magnet system. Finally, it increases the energy of the flux for more power, without sacrificing dynamics and fast transients.

Top of the range performance

The Tweeter of the Emit 25C is the prestigious and performing Cerotar, the same used on the rest of the Emit line and also on the award-winning Evoke. Its design derives directly from the renowned "Esotar Forty Tweeter" created precisely for the Special Forty Edition which features an innovative technology aimed at reducing and managing all unwanted resonances, also optimizing the rear air flow. But not only…. As in the Evoke, Contour i, Confidence series, the new Cerotar hides a further innovation (exactly behind the dome): the Hexis.

This ingenious internal dome with special “dimples” is positioned just behind the dome fabric in order to control and cancel unwanted resonances reflecting off the back of the membrane surface. This allows you to keep the frequency response uniform for cleaner, sweeter and more detailed highs without tiring your ears, even for long listening sessions.

Danish design

The Dynaudio Emit 25C cabinet is available in three beautiful and refined laminate finishes: Black, White and Walnut. From an aesthetic point of view, the 25C has been designed in order to make itself "not very visible" because, being a central speaker, it will have to avoid being "seen" while watching a film, leaving you concentrated on the screen. Recommended amplifier, cables, accessories

If you are looking for an integrated amplifier to drive the Emit 25C and the rest of the loudspeaker series, we recommend combining it with tuner amplifiers with a nominal power of at least 100W per channel. Excellent audio cables, and commensurate for use with Dynaudio's Emits, are the Chord C-line or, if budget permits, the Clearway. We are talking about both signal cables with which to connect the various electronics and power cables between amplifier and speakers. The ultimate accessory for any Home Cinema center channel are 4 Orea Bronze isolator feet.
