Evoke 25C is a dedicated Home Cinema center speaker, designed to integrate seamlessly with any other speaker in the Evoke family – to immerse your ears in high-quality, non-fatiguing yet always immersive sound.

    Description

Dynaudio Evoke 25C is the HiFi center speaker for Home Cinema

Dynaudio Evoke 25C is a dedicated center speaker designed to integrate seamlessly with any other speaker in the Evoke family. A homogeneous timbre allows immersion in high quality sound that is engaging but not tiring. Two-way design with innovative 28mm soft dome tweeter and two 14cm woofers.

The advantages of a Home Cinema solution are varied. You don't have to queue, the floor isn't sticky and you don't have to pay astronomical prices for poccorn. The audio experience then, with the correct tools, is far superior. The first step towards a Home Cinema is the center channel.

Director Danny Boyle has said that sound is 70-80% of the cinematic experience. And when you watch a movie, most of that famous 70-80% is reproduced right from the center channel. When the protagonists speak, their voices and all interpretative realism pass through the central channel.

    Completely new Cerotar tweeter

As in the rest of the range, the tweeter of the Evoke 25C model is the brand new Cerotar. It builds on the key technologies of the award-winning Esotar Forty anniversary tweeter and the powerful new Esotar3, also featured in the more sophisticated Dynaudio Confidence series.

Like all Dynaudio tweeters, Cerotar uses a precision coated soft dome. This coating is applied in exactly the right places and thicknesses to optimize high frequency performance. It is a process derived from Dynaudio's most exclusive loudspeakers.

Hidden behind the dome is a novelty called Hexis: a special internal dome that shapes the airflow to smooth out the frequency response and eliminate unwanted resonances that could affect high-frequency performance.

The Cerotar tweeter is powered by a new strontium carbonate ceramic magnet with Ferrite+ for increased sensitivity, improved detail resolution, and a natural, dynamic response.

It's a very elegant way of saying "even if you're watching one of those nine-hour box sets, your ears won't get tired." Which, of course, is exactly what you'd expect.

    New woofer technology

Dynaudio Evoke 25C features two 14 cm Mid / Bass drivers called Esotec+, made of MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer), a material that Dynaudio has used for woofer diaphragms since the dawn of time. It provides exactly the right combination of lightness, stiffness and damping to balance the needs for precise bass performance with a clear and detailed midrange.

Each speaker cone is crafted from a single piece of MSP. This leads to perfect stiffness and a significant reduction in physical distortion when the speakers are in operation. It also provides a super-solid physical connection to the fiberglass voice coil at the back of the cone (it's glued directly under the balance ribs you'll see around the center), meaning more of the voice coil's movement energy is transferred to the diaphragm. Summary: more power, more control, more performance.

The 38mm spools are made of aluminum which is the best solution to make them extremely light. This allows you to use multiple wraps. More windings give more control over the movement of the cone, more control over the sound even at high volumes and high frequencies. This is especially important in a center speaker that is primarily concerned with speech – its midrange performance must be absolutely top notch!

The woofer motor is kept stable, centered and aligned by the Nomex basket (the circular spring assembly that stops the cone moving when it shouldn't move and lets it move when it should), while the new flange derived from the Contour line allows for higher excursion to get more punch. As with the Cerotar tweeter, the woofers are both driven by Ferrite+ ceramic magnets for greater control, finesse and power.

    Made for (Home) Movies

Dynaudio's design department drew inspiration from interior design shops, state-of-the-art showrooms and royal homes to refine the Evoke 25C's look. After all, it is as much a part of the decor as a piece of furniture or the sofa you sit on to watch your movies.

Dynaudio Evoke 25C is available in four beautiful finishes:

    glossy black

    glossy white

    walnut wood

    blond wood.

The glossy versions are incredible: new lacquering techniques have resulted in a sumptuous, almost glass-like finish. The wood versions use a tactile, open natural veneer for a soft, warm feel.

The most attentive will have noticed that there are no visible screws. Dynaudio Evoke 25C has simple and clean trim rings that emphasize the finish of the cabinet and the moving parts of the drivers.

Clean, beautiful and honest. In one word: Danish!

Like a great movie, great design doesn't age. Dynaudio Evoke 25C will remain as timeless and thrilling as the great classic films we love to watch over and over again.
