The T2 W represents a courageous attempt to combine the analogue reproduction of vinyl with the convenience of digital, an attempt that Pro-Ject completes with gusto.

The heart of the T2 W is a belt-driven turntable, equipped with a 9-inch aluminum arm and Sumiko MM cartridge, also equipped with electronic speed control; taking it to another level is the presence of a wireless module, which allows you to stream your music content to the speakers and all other devices connected to the network. The “Pro-Ject Control” app simplifies installation and control; Among the salient features we find the lossless FLAC output at 48kHz/24bit and automatic streaming when you lower the stylus onto the groove.

Playing records, making the vinyl format a "modern" system, has never been

so simple.

The T2 W enters the Pro-Ject T Series turntable category, taking the top step. The T1 model is already present in its variants in the same category. Among the numerous improvements introduced in the T2 W, some deserve to be mentioned immediately: let's start with the 9" straight aluminum arm with integrated shell, the thicker 10mm glass platter, a new cartridge, and for the first time it opens a collaboration with Sumiko, a historic US brand, mounting the Sumiko Rainer MM head. The main innovation, however, is the wireless transmission which does not use Bluetooth, like the previous T1 BT, but the Wi-Fi protocol. The streaming technology allows the simultaneous sending of signals with resolution up to 24 bit/48 kHz in lossless FLAC format to various UPnP/DLNA devices. However, there is no lack of "lossy" transmission to ensure compatibility with a greater number of devices.

Streaming is managed via the new Pro-Ject Control App. It is worth underlining the compatibility with existing wireless platforms and a second transmission mode is available for Apple and Bluesound systems.
