Triphonic audio is the futurefacing technology that powers our system and makes super spatial sound a reality.

Triphonic enables our system to calibrate to your room to accurately spatialize sound. When you have multiple Cells, it allows each Cell to know where it is in your space in relation to the others and tailors playback for your room. Force-balanced subwoofers.

The most bass in the smallest package with clean, deep sound at any volume. Cell Alpha features two custom subwoofer drivers, one facing up, the other down. Closely matched through careful hardware design and powerful digital signal processing, they're able to move in perfect opposition. With every movement of one driver countered by an equal and opposite reaction in the other, energy that might otherwise excite a sub enclosure to resonate is simply canceled out. This is a force-balanced con figuration.

The Triphone.

A three horn system projects sound with pinpoint accuracy. Each horn contains a concentric pair of midrange and treble drivers, joining the subwoofers in a full-range threeway configuration. The three horns of the Triphone focus each pair of drivers on one third of the surrounding space, for precise directivity. Each driver also enjoys its own signal path and class-D ampli fier for total independence and high e fficiency. The Triphone's custom designed horns can project multiple beams in di fferent directions simultaneously. For example, the song vocals can potentially be directed to the listener while the guitars and keyboards to the left and right sides of the Cell. This creates a much more spacious soundstage. This gives us an ideal platform for directional audio reproduction, and the perfect starting point for what comes next.

Single point source design.

All sound emanates from the core, delivering unmatched clarity and perfect timbre. To accomplish this, the custom drivers inside Cell Alpha are densely packed in a spherical array. The subwoofers face up and down. The midrange and treble drivers are horn-loaded in three concentric pairs around the equator. All speaker voice coils are drawn together in the center of the sphere. This enables proper time alignment that results in a much smoother directivity in the crossover region and over a wide frequency range. The wide range ensures that all the frequencies in the original content are being reproduced faithfully.

Designed with efficiency in mind.

The speakers and amplifiers have been optimized to deliver beautiful sound at reference sound levels while drawing minimal power. This allows the Cell to achieve a very high level of performance in a very small package and with minimal heating, all without fans. Cell Alpha turns all its power into sound, rather than heat inside the device. You won’t have to worry about burning your hand on Cell Alpha.

With our Syng Link cable, your favorite speakers for music can be your favorite speakers for home theater, too. Syng Link is the only media cable that works with Cell Alpha, used to connect to TVs with ARC and eARC ports. This proprietary USB-C to HDMI cable is the only cable of its kind that can support ARC and eARC audio. One Syng Link and one Cell are all you need for an an incredible–and incredibly easy–home theater experience. When connected to your TV, one Cell easily reproduces 5.1 surround sound. With additional Cells comes greater immersion, customization and control. Gone are the days of rigid home theater layouts.
