CHORD CLEARWAY SUBWOOFER

Chord Clearway Subwoofer is the analog cable used to connect the subwoofer to an integrated amplifier or AV receiver-amplifier. It is also used to connect a sub to a pair of active speakers to reinforce low frequencies.

As in the case of the RCA cable, the Clearway analogue subwoofer cable also inherits the design of the C-LINE family, improving the quality of all materials and refining their workmanship.

One area of music where Tuned ARAY cables really shine is in the low frequencies. The control and definition they bring is immediately apparent. Improved dynamics, enhanced timbre, and greater coherence make ARAY and Tuned ARAY cables particularly well suited for use with subwoofers, for both music and home theater applications.

Clearway Subwoofer cable is available with VEE3 RCA connectors with the new ChorAlloy plating which ensures the highest standards of conductivity and consequently less resistance and therefore less signal loss. Standard lengths are 3m and 5m, with custom lengths available to order.

Does a good sub cable make a difference?

The answer is a resounding yes! An excessively cheap cable loses harmonics and ultimately does not lead to the active subwoofer to which all the signal to be reproduced is connected. The result is a smeared sound that is inconsistent with the other speakers. Being typically several meters long, and therefore susceptible to interference and attenuation along its length, subwoofer cable is particularly important.
