Put a pair of floorstanding speakers in your living room and even the least Hi-Fi person in the world will know you mean it. Put a pair of Dynaudio Evoke 30 speakers in there and they'll know you have a certain taste. These two-and-a-half-way speakers strike the balance between compactness and sobriety, on the one hand, and sheer enthusiasm for music listened to with wide eyes, on the other.

They received the Fidelity Award for the year 2022 as a Premium category passive loudspeaker.

Let's start from the top

Heading the table of the new Dynaudio Evoke 30 is the brand new 28mm Cerotar coated soft dome tweeter. It's a brand new design, one of the best ever made.

Danish engineers have plundered some of the most famous technologies, including ingenious airflow systems from the award-winning Esotar Forty anniversary tweeter, the precision coating featured on the Contour range and even the new Confidence Series Hexis (more on that later). ) – and combined them into a new specific design – only for the Evoke family.

The Cerotar is driven by a new Ferrite+ and Strontium Ferrite ceramic magnet system and features the Hexis inner dome. This ingenious device sits just behind the tweeter's soft diaphragm and reduces unwanted resonances while smoothing out the overall frequency response. The result is sweeter sound, better detail and even greater clarity – and that means you can listen into the wee hours of the morning without fatigue.

Let's dig deeper into the bass

Dynaudio Evoke 30's two 14cm Esotec + mid/bass woofers are made from MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer), a material that Dynaudio has been using for woofers since way back in 1977. L. MSP offers just the right combination of light weight, stiffness and damping to balance the need for powerful yet precise bass, with a midrange that is both clear and detailed.

Each cone is made from a single piece of MSP. This makes the structure rigid and allows for much less distortion during operation. It also provides an ultra-solid physical connection to the rear-facing glass fiber coil, meaning more of the coil's motion energy is transferred to the diaphragm. More power, live, for you!

In Evoke 30 the 52mm voice coils are made of aluminum – providing the right mix of weight and winding measurements – in order to balance the bass and midrange frequencies. The solution offers optimal moving mass while maintaining the right "grip" in the midrange performance, for perfectly integrated overall performance.

Dynaudio Evoke 30's Nomex baskets keep the drivers absolutely centered while the new Contour-derived contour allows them more travel, for more impact. Like the Cerotar tweeter, the Evoke 30's woofers are both driven by ceramic + ferrite magnets for greater control, finesse and power.

Evoke 30 was built for real life. The designers' priority was to make the whole family look great in any listening environment. They took the models and prototypes home for a year. They have visited showrooms, furniture stores, have been in contact with many interior designers and furniture retailers and have even been from house to house to understand which design was most correct for this generation of products.

Dynaudio Evoke 30 is available in four beautiful finishes. High Gloss Black Lacquer and High Gloss White Lacquer both use a new lacquer technique that gives a gloriously deep, glass-like appearance. At the other end of the tactile spectrum are the lovely open natural veneers in Walnut and Light Wood.
