ATC's SIA2-150 is the reference integrated amplifier of the famous English brand, hand-built in the United Kingdom to rigorous standards with the aim of extremely analytical, transparent and detailed reproduction.

It is a 100% analog and extremely versatile amplifier with a large power reserve, capable of driving medium and large speakers with extreme authority, precision and control, and designed as the ideal partner of the Entry Series and Classic Series of the same Brand.

In the name we find all the nameplate specifications: SIA stands for Stereo Integrated Amplifier, "2" for the quantity of channels and 150 indicates the power in Watts per channel.

It integrates a huge power supply section capable of offering a power of 150 W per channel into 8 Ohms in class AB, the first two thirds of which would be in class A.

Its performance offers wide bandwidth, low distortion and low noise, and high output power design. The SIA2-150's sonic signature is exceptional directness in dynamics, transparency and detail with extraordinary tonal balance, making it the ideal choice for the legendary Classic Series loudspeakers. Powerful, dynamic and natural, it manages to highlight every detail of the original recordings.

Design Made in ATC

The design curated by founder Billy Woodman is inspired by the visual charm of professional electronics from the '50s and '60s reinterpreted in a more modern key. The 12mm thick, finely machined titanium anodized aluminum front panel offers essential controls: volume adjustment and input selection only; there are no front panel bright displays, tone or balance controls. Two small buttons correspond to Standby and Monitor. All controls are also possible from the remote control included in the package.

The SIA2-150 uses the same gain reduction and protection circuitry that ATC integrates into its 2- or 3-way active speakers to prevent amplifier clipping at high output levels, improving performance and protecting your speakers from possible damage to the speakers.

The adjustment of the output volume is achieved via a precision potentiometer. The signal domain is completely analogue: it boasts 5 stereo RCA inputs, including CD, Tuner, AV, Aux and Rec In.

The connections are completed by 3 stereo RCA analogue outputs: Sub Out for connecting active Subwoofers, Pre Out for connecting any power amplifiers and Rec Out.

Old Style Connectivity Among the power outputs we find two pairs of 4 mm connectors for connecting a single pair of speakers.

We recommend the use of high quality cables such as those from Chord Company, which guarantee extraordinary clarity and sound transparency, a philosophy fully shared by ATC.

In addition to the terminals that allow the connection of speakers, a 6.35 mm jack for connecting quality headphones. Through the Pre Out output positioned on the rear panel it is possible to connect a power amplifier to increase the power reserve or to facilitate bi-amplification, for example ATC P1 150 W per channel or ATC P2 300 W.</p >

It is possible to connect an active Subwoofer to the same output to complete the listening experience: the ideal partner together with the Entry Series speakers is the C1 Sub Mk2.

The SIA2-150 integrated amplifier is designed to match perfectly with the ATC CD2 player, which recalls its fabulous lines and dimensions, but can be combined with any other source.
