H600 is Hegel's reference integrated amplifier, the sum of all the proprietary technologies that have made the brand famous throughout the world. With its 303 Watts into 8 ohms, a damping factor of 4000 and a drive capacity down to 2 ohms, this powerful amplifier can drive any speaker with ease and confidence.

Derived from the H590, it boasts a number of new features, a new chassis design, a new DAC, a preamp section derived from the P30A, a Dual Mono amplification topology combined with SoundEngine2 correction technology, a new high-performance streamer , H600 is a true powerhouse capable of fulfilling all the dreams of audiophiles. The amplifier has a Dual Mono design that brings it incredibly close to the performance of a pair of Mono amplifiers.

The cutting-edge preamp section integrates the extremely precise volume attenuator of the P30A reference preamp, iconically called The Conductor.

The performance is extraordinarily transparent and natural, free of timbral coloration: the result is an immensely wide and deep soundstage with incredible dynamic range and incredible bass control. Concept & Design

The chassis is made of aluminum to improve audio performance: with a solid bottom frame and a top panel with vents milled in two layers to offer ventilation and greater rigidity. Large aluminum feet with anti-scratch design ensure excellent stability and reduced vibration.

The large control knobs with a refined feel are equipped with touch control, making this amplifier highly technological as well as truly simple and intuitive to use, making every adjustment a pleasure.

The experience with H600 is customizable to ensure it adapts to the needs and environments of each enthusiast.

All digital inputs (except USB) have Signal Sense signal detection: this means that any device connected to these inputs can wake the amplifier and set it to the correct input. Additionally, the volume can be limited to match your maximum volume level preferences. With the TV Remote Control function, you can program the amplifier to be controlled by common TV remote controls, eliminating the need for two remote controls and making the sound experience easier for the whole family.

All electronic circuits were designed in-house and use only the highest quality components to give you unprecedented control over the amplification process. Combining power and control with proprietary SoundEngine2 correction technology, eliminating all distortion components stage by stage, you get an audio signal extremely close to the original recording.

DAC

The H600's DAC is a bit-perfect design capable of delivering extremely faithful reproduction without any resampling or oversampling. This D/A converter has a dedicated power supply that ensures high and stable performance, and is shielded by a thick steel plate to prevent interference from other electronic components. The result is a cutting-edge D/A converter in terms of resolution and fluidity.

The amplifier boasts a wide range of connections to accommodate all the most common audio sources.

For analog sources, such as the Viking reference CD player and MoFi reference turntables via Hegel V10 phono preamp, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs are available.

The high-quality RCA connectors and optimized placement of the connectors – both analog and digital – ensure low noise and better channel separation.

On the digital front, the world of streaming is guaranteed by a LAN network port, for the PC there is a USB input with resolution up to 32 bit 384 kHz (which also supports DSD256 via DoP), for all other sources 3 optical inputs Toslink, one S/PDIF coaxial and one 75 ohm BNC input.

For analog outputs, it offers a pair of fixed-level RCA outputs and a pair of variable-level RCA outputs. Additionally, it provides a fixed level 75 ohm BNC digital output.

The concept of Hegel's integrated amplifiers is the union of a very high level audio performance combined with extreme ease of use. That's why H600 integrates an advanced streamer, extremely versatile and upgradeable to stay up to date with the latest music streaming options. Supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect as well as Airplay 2 and UPnP protocol; awaiting Roon Ready certification.

Most inputs can also be set as fixed high-level Home Theater inputs, making it easy to combine the H600 with multi-channel receivers or multi-room devices.

The firmware can be updated completely automatically via the internet; Along with updates, new features will also be released in the future to further improve versatility and keep your device up to date for many years to come.
