The new Mofi StudioDeck and StudioDeck+ turntable (same turntable but with cartridge mounted) were developed and manufactured in the USA, at Mobile Fidelity's Studio and Ultra Tonearms. The construction philosophy is based on a rigid frame with an internal tuning system and anti-vibration insulating feet. These turntables offer the ideal balance of stiffness and low tracking error: if you don't know about it it just means that all you will hear is what is in the grooves of the record.

Tonearm Ultra

Custom developed and manufactured in the USA, the Ultra 10-inch Tonearm uses high-quality, smooth-running ball bearings for low friction in both the vertical and horizontal planes, so all you hear is what's in the grooves of the arm. vinyl record. Cardas audio cables maintain signal purity from the headphone shells down to the high quality gold plated RCA connectors.

Synchronous motor isolated

Our AC motor with two-way pulley provides excellent speed stability for maximum rotational speed accuracy. The Delrin® pulley has two positions for speed selection of 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. Motor vibrations are kept away from the platter and stylus using advanced damping materials that decouple the motor from the rest of the turntable.

Aluminum bonded layers

The UltraDeck's construction includes three aluminum plates carefully glued to the MDF body to add mass and eliminate tonal coloration, delivering exactly the real sound found on the record.

Tip: Filtered AC current

In HiFi listening chains, the various devices must be consistent with each other to get the best results. Amplifiers and delicate electronics should always be powered with possibly controlled and filtered electric current. Any noise induced by sudden changes in the home network or in the macro living area is reflected in voltage oscillations - even important and harmful to the device - which in the best case are detrimental to listening pleasure and the absolute performance of our devices . We strongly recommend the use of shielded power cords and good quality power strips with decent to good quality amplifiers and audio electronics. These improve the life and performance of the connected devices and also of the rest of the appliances in the house since they do not filter disturbances and discharges but, symmetrically, do not emit them. Toroidal electrical insulators for HiFi are also recommended to obtain the maximum in terms of listening and safety.
