100 W 7.2-Channel Amplification

The CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2 features seven discrete power amplifiers, capable of delivering 100 W per channel into 8 Ohms under the specified measurement conditions. Output reaches 140 W per channel into 6 Ohms, providing ample power reserves for sophisticated home theater systems.

The design employs a Current Feedback topology and proprietary HDAM-SA2 circuitry, while Pure Direct mode allows the signal path to be prioritized when additional processing is not required.

Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

The CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2 supports the main immersive cinematic audio formats, including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, Dolby Atmos Music, DTS:X and DTS Neural:X.

The receiver can handle up to 7.1 channels of preamplifier processing, allowing different home theater configurations depending on the speakers used and the listening environment.

Audyssey MultEQ XT and Dirac Live

Automatic room calibration is handled by Audyssey MultEQ XT, which measures the system response using the supplied microphone and applies corrections to optimize speaker performance within the listening room.

Audyssey Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume are also available. The receiver is additionally prepared for an upgrade to Dirac Live, providing another option for more advanced system customization.

HDMI 2.1, 8K and 4K/120 Hz

The video section is designed for modern home entertainment and gaming sources. The CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2 features 6 HDMI inputs, three of which support 8K signals, together with two HDMI outputs, one supporting eARC.

HDMI 2.1 compatibility includes 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz, with bandwidth of up to 40 Gbps. Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG and Dynamic HDR are also supported.

For gaming, VRR, ALLM, Quick Frame Transport and AMD FreeSync are available, allowing consoles and gaming PCs to be integrated into the same home theater system.

HEOS: Streaming and Multiroom

The integrated HEOS platform allows the CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2 to operate as a network music component. Services including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music and Deezer are supported.

The receiver also supports AirPlay 2, Roon Ready and TuneIn Internet Radio. Network connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth, while the Bluetooth re-transmit function allows audio to be sent to compatible Bluetooth headphones.

Hi-Res Audio Playback

The network section supports high-resolution lossless audio files, including FLAC, WAV and ALAC up to 192 kHz / 24-bit, as well as DSD playback up to 5.6 MHz.

Gapless playback is also available for FLAC, WAV, ALAC and DSD, making the receiver suitable for albums and recordings designed as continuous musical sequences.

Comprehensive Connectivity

In addition to its HDMI connectivity, the CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2 provides four analogue inputs, an MM phono input, two optical inputs and two coaxial inputs. The front USB-A port allows storage devices to be connected for audio playback.

The 7.2-channel preamplifier outputs allow external power amplifiers to be used to expand the system, while the two subwoofer outputs make it possible to configure systems with two active subwoofers.

Flexible Zones and Configurations

The receiver supports two multiroom zones, with the ability to assign different sources to different areas of the system. The speaker terminals can also be configured for Speaker A/B, bi-amping and multiroom use.

The entire system can be controlled using the dedicated remote control, the Marantz AVR Remote app or the HEOS app, while the on-screen setup procedure simplifies initial installation.

Marantz Design

The CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2 presents Marantz's distinctive design language in a contemporary form. The front panel is dominated by the central display and traditional control elements, with a construction designed to integrate naturally into high-quality home theater and Hi-Fi systems.
