Onkyo TX-8220 is an integrated stereo receiver that offers high-quality audio performance and a variety of features.

TX-8220 uses a discrete amplification architecture that uses separate components for each audio channel. This technology allows for greater precision and purer sound than integrated circuits, offering faithful and detailed reproduction of music.

The amplifier provides an output power of 45 watts per channel into 8 ohm loads. This power is enough to power speakers of various sizes and deliver dynamic, immersive sound.

Among the technologies included we find WRAT (Wide Range Amplifier Technology): developed by Onkyo to reduce distortion and guarantee a wide and precise frequency response. Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry):

VLSC technology helps preserve the integrity of the digital audio signal during digital-to-analog conversion. It reduces the impulse noise generated during this conversion, ensuring clean, distortion-free sound for a high-quality listening experience.

Multi Rooms

It then integrates multi-room speaker outputs, allowing you to distribute audio across multiple rooms. You can connect additional speakers in another room and control audio playback independently from the main room.

Bluetooth

The receiver then supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect compatible devices wirelessly. You can stream music from your smartphone, tablet or computer directly to the receiver, giving you greater flexibility in choosing audio sources.

Radio receiver

TX-8220 features a built-in FM/AM and DAB radio receiver that allows you to tune into traditional and digital radio stations.
