Chord EpicX Power – High-End Power Cable with ARAY Technology

The Chord EpicX Power is a high-end power cable developed by The Chord Company for high-performance hi-fi, high-end and home cinema systems. Designed to improve electrical stability while reducing noise and high-frequency interference, this cable allows audio electronics to deliver greater dynamics, transparency and musical control.

Based on proprietary ARAY technology derived from Chord’s reference cable designs, the EpicX Power uses high-purity OFC multi-strand copper conductors with an optimized geometry engineered to improve current transfer, reduce impedance and minimize RF and EMI interference from domestic mains supplies.

The internal construction employs high mechanical-damping PVC insulation for both inner and outer layers, specifically designed to reduce vibration and mechanically induced noise. The cable also incorporates a high-density dual-layer braid and foil shielding system engineered to suppress high-frequency interference generated by routers, switching power supplies, streamers, televisions and electronic devices commonly found in modern listening environments.

The result is a cleaner, more dynamic and more focused sound with tighter bass response, improved microdynamics and greater tonal naturalness. EpicX Power also contributes to lower background noise, enhanced soundstage precision and improved low-level detail retrieval even in highly resolving systems.

Available with 10A or 16A IEC connectors and multiple international mains standards, the cable is entirely hand assembled in the United Kingdom according to The Chord Company’s strict manufacturing standards.
