AudioQuest Black Beauty RCA – Hi-Fi Analogue Interconnect Cable
The AudioQuest Black Beauty RCA analogue interconnect cable is designed for audiophiles who want to enhance the performance of their Hi-Fi systems. Part of AudioQuest's prestigious Mythical Horses series, it combines high-quality conductors and proprietary technologies to preserve signal integrity and deliver detailed, natural music reproduction.
Its Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, combined with ZERO-Tech and Carbon/Graphene shielding, help reduce interference and signal distortion. The careful selection of materials makes this cable an excellent choice for high-end Hi-Fi systems.
Main Features
- PSC+ conductors: High-quality copper with an exceptionally smooth surface, designed to minimise distortion.
- ZERO-Tech: Designed to reduce the effects of characteristic impedance on analogue signal transmission.
- Carbon/Graphene shielding: Helps combat radio-frequency interference.
- RF drain wires: Wires with 0.5% silver plating to manage radio-frequency interference.
- Hard-Cell Foamed-Polyethylene insulation: Expanded polyethylene designed to minimise energy absorption.
- High-quality RCA connectors: Hanging-Silver contacts over red copper, with copper-plated connector housings.
- Directional construction: Designed to improve the management of RF interference.
Sound Quality and Performance
The AudioQuest Black Beauty RCA is engineered to provide an accurate analogue connection between Hi-Fi components. Its combination of PSC+ conductors, ZERO-Tech and Carbon/Graphene shielding is designed to minimise interference and support clean, articulate sound reproduction.
In a properly configured Hi-Fi system, the cable can help preserve fine musical details, instrument separation and the overall soundstage presentation.
Compatibility
The RCA male-to-RCA male connectors allow the Black Beauty to connect components equipped with analogue RCA sockets, including:
- CD and SACD players with analogue RCA outputs.
- DACs with analogue RCA outputs.
- Audio streamers with analogue outputs.
- Preamplifiers and integrated amplifiers.
- Other Hi-Fi components with compatible RCA connections.
The Black Beauty RCA is available in several lengths. Depending on the selected option, it may be supplied as a single cable or as a stereo pair.
