Rotel CD11MKII CD player

The CD player, CD11MKII, continues Rotel's 30-year tradition of offering quality electronics at the right price. The sturdy steel frame protects the proprietary Rotel transport mechanism from interference, designed exclusively for playing compact discs. The loading mechanism of the CD11MKII is smooth and silent, as is the precise laser pickup controlled by a latest generation motor, for the best reproduction. Digital-to-analog conversion is performed by a high-quality Texas Instruments PCM5102A 32-bit/384kHz DAC (digital-to-analog converter) that passes the information to custom-made digital filter circuits. This circuitry is optimized for sound quality, and results in a large sound image. On the front panel we find the most used controls together with the graphic display, which shows the playback status and information on the disc's metadata, including title and artist. The outputs are both analog RCA and digital coaxial. The remote control completes the equipment of this CD.
