Developed through years of expert engineering, the HyperStream II architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technology utilize an advanced clock system to ensure time accuracy with minimal phase noise. This results in a naturally accurate three-dimensional soundstage while preserving the integrity of the original recording.

Additionally, Audiolab's advanced ESS implementation offers five selectable DAC reconstruction filters, allowing users to optimize the listening experience based on their system configuration and source material.

Unmatched connectivity for seamless integration

It features 2 coaxial and 2 optical S/PDIF digital inputs, a USB drive connection and a new AES/EBU input for professional-grade systems. Coaxial and optical S/PDIF digital outputs also allow for system expansion into the digital domain. For simplicity and improved performance, the D9 supports playback from USB HDD devices and offers Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD and LDAC for wireless high-resolution streaming from smart devices.

Users can also choose to upsample digital audio signals to 352.8kHz or 384kHz, using expertly implemented DAC reconstruction filter settings. This allows the DAC to extract and restore intrinsic musical details.

Premium analog stage and balanced connectivity

The D9’s high-performance analog section features balanced XLR and RCA outputs, providing a flawless signal path for integration into high-fidelity home systems and audiophile-grade environments. Fully balanced XLR or RCA line outputs ensure high-quality signal integrity even in the analog domain.

The D9’s feature-rich operation puts the user experience first, with a fully functional remote control and a vibrant 2.8” IPS colour display. The overall user interface offers multilingual menus and instant access to all functions, a level beyond competing models in the same price range. It provides detailed visual access to DAC settings and filter functions, display options and total control over every aspect of performance. For USB HDD and Bluetooth sources, the display also provides a real-time readout of media playback. Where applicable, artist, track, album, time, source, input and file formats are all visually represented.
