The ELAC Vela FS 409.2 is the flagship model of the prestigious Vela 2.0 Series. Designed and manufactured in Germany, it combines advanced acoustic engineering, premium materials and elegant craftsmanship to deliver a truly uncompromising high-end listening experience.

Its sophisticated 3.5-way architecture allows each frequency range to be reproduced with exceptional precision and control. The dedicated midrange driver provides improved separation between instruments and voices, resulting in greater transparency, realism and overall musical coherence.

At the heart of the design is ELAC's renowned JET 6 Air Motion Transformer tweeter. Designed and handcrafted in Germany, the JET 6 offers ultra-fast transient response, extremely low distortion and frequency extension up to 50 kHz, producing a remarkably open, detailed and natural treble presentation.

The midrange section is handled by a dedicated 150 mm AS-XR driver, while bass frequencies are reproduced by two 180 mm AS-XR woofers. The Crystal Aluminium Sandwich diaphragms combine low mass, exceptional rigidity and excellent damping characteristics, delivering deep bass, natural midrange reproduction and outstanding dynamic performance.

The distinctive Vela cabinet incorporates a convex front baffle, a rearward-tilted enclosure and a downward-firing bass reflex port integrated into the die-cast aluminum base. This sophisticated design improves sound dispersion, minimizes diffraction effects and provides greater flexibility in speaker placement.
