Musical Fidelity M6xi – High-End Dual Mono Stereo Integrated Amplifier

The Musical Fidelity M6xi is a high-end stereo integrated amplifier engineered to deliver exceptional power, absolute loudspeaker control and an extremely refined and engaging musical presentation. As the direct evolution of the acclaimed M6si, the new M6xi introduces a completely updated amplifier topology derived from the flagship TITAN amplifier, significantly improving dynamics, transparency and driving capability.

The power amplifier section operates in a true dual mono configuration with low-distortion Darlington output stages and a high-capacity linear power supply. Delivering 230 watts per channel into 8 Ohms and up to 390 watts into 4 Ohms, the M6xi can effortlessly drive even extremely demanding loudspeakers while maintaining outstanding bass control, dynamics and stability at all listening levels.

The fully analogue preamplifier stage uses a precision Burr-Brown stepped attenuator to ensure perfect channel balance, ultra-low noise and maximum signal integrity. Internal circuitry has been optimized to minimize RF and EMI interference through dedicated shielding and separate analogue power supplies.

The Musical Fidelity M6xi offers extremely comprehensive connectivity including analogue RCA inputs, balanced XLR input, integrated MM/MC phono stage, USB-C DAC supporting up to 24bit/192kHz, optical and coaxial digital inputs, plus HDMI eARC for high-performance TV integration. Additional features include pre-out, home theatre bypass, trigger connections, 5V USB-A output for external streamers and RS232 custom integration.

The mechanical construction follows Musical Fidelity tradition with a fully metal high-rigidity chassis, massive aluminium front panel and carefully optimized internal layout designed to minimize vibration and electromagnetic interference. The result is an amplifier capable of combining authority, transparency and emotional musical involvement with exceptional refinement.
