The Accuphase E-211 is a used High-End stereo integrated amplifier belonging to Accuphase's prestigious design tradition. It features an extremely robust construction, a high-quality power supply and a design focused on excellent stability and natural music reproduction.

The output stage uses a parallel push-pull configuration with high-performance power transistors and a large heat sink. The current feedback amplification circuit is designed to achieve a high response speed, while the power supply features a transformer rated at approximately 400 VA and two 22,000 μF electrolytic capacitors.

The original packaging is not available. If the amplifier is purchased with shipping, it will nevertheless be carefully prepared and adequately packaged to ensure safe transportation.

The product is supplied with the Accuphase RC-23 remote control.

Current Feedback Amplification

One of the defining features of the E-211 is its Current Feedback amplification circuit. In this architecture, the output signal is detected as current and converted back into voltage through an impedance stage.

The circuit's high response speed helps minimize phase rotation and allows for highly linear and stable operation.

Parallel Push-Pull Output Stage

The power stage uses high-performance audio transistors in a parallel push-pull configuration, mounted on a large heat sink. The thermal design is intended to ensure stable operation even during extended listening sessions.

Rated output reaches 90 W per channel into 8 Ohms, while the available current allows the amplifier to deliver 115 W into 4 Ohms and 105 W into 6 Ohms.

High-Capacity Power Supply

The power supply is an important part of the E-211's design. It uses an approximately 400 VA power transformer, supported by two large aluminium electrolytic capacitors rated at 22,000 μF each.

This configuration provides a substantial energy reserve for the amplification section and contributes to power supply stability during music reproduction.

Active-Filter Tone Controls

The E-211's tone controls use an additive active-filter design. The original signal is maintained in the main signal path, while the component corresponding to the bass or treble adjustment is added or subtracted as required.

Bass adjustment provides ±10 dB at 50 Hz, while treble adjustment provides ±10 dB at 20 kHz. A Loudness function is also available, providing a 6 dB boost at 200 Hz.

Direct-Reading V-Meters

The front panel features Accuphase's characteristic peak power meters with logarithmic compression. The scale provides a direct indication of output level, with readings in dB and reference to power into an 8-Ohm load.

Connectivity and Flexibility

The E-211 provides high-level analogue inputs together with a balanced input. The robust speaker terminals can accept large-gauge cables and allow two speaker systems to be connected or a bi-wiring configuration to be used.

A headphone output is also provided and is compatible with headphones with an impedance between 4 and 100 Ohms.
