The Nait XS2 is a high-performance integrated stereo amplifier that combines a preamplifier with six analog line inputs and a 70 Watt per channel power amplifier. The Nait XS 2 can be controlled either with the remote control or with the volume, mute and input selection buttons on its front panel.

The Nait XS 2 remote control is described in Chapter 18 of this manual. The 6.3 mm jack socket on the front panel allows the use of headphones.

Different types of power supplies, preamps and alternative or additional amplifiers can be connected to the Nait XS 2. The figures in chapter 11 illustrate some of these possible connections. If you do not use alternative power supplies or amplifiers, the Nait XS 2 preamp/power supply link connector, supplied as an accessory, must be inserted into the “preamp out” and “power amp in” sockets on the rear panel.

Your Nait XS 2 must be installed on a stand specifically designed for this purpose. Do not install it on top of other equipment. Take special care to install the unit on a horizontal surface. The amplifier must be installed in its final position before connecting the cables and switching on. Before switching on, make sure the volume is at zero.
