The new VC-S3 is a record cleaning machine that can be considered almost professional. The quality of the product, compared to the version it replaces, is superior and with completely new features. Vinyl records, to play well, require specific maintenance. Dry cleaning with common bristle brushes is certainly useful, but only coarsely removes dust.

To clean grooves effectively, you need to wash the record. To achieve perfect cleaning, you also need a suitable cleaning liquid. Alcoholic cleaning fluids can damage the musical micro information of the grooves. For this reason Pro-Ject has designed the new ecological and non-alcoholic cleaning liquid "Wash it 2". This solution is already pre-mixed, so there's no need to dilute it anymore. In this way you avoid accidentally using unsuitable tap water for mixing. With Wash it 2, cleaning performance is optimized and with the power of VC-S3, discs are completely cleaned in one or at most two passes.

The new Magnetic Clamp not only seals the disc label from the cleaning liquid to avoid damaging it, but also speeds up the entire cleaning process. Place the disc on the machine, block it with the new clamp and you are ready; you no longer have to screw the clamp onto the axle as in the past. The easy-to-use metal arm has been further mechanically stabilized and concentrates all the suction power directly on the disc surface. In combination with the new self-adhesive tonearm strip, records are cleaned perfectly. The internal cleaning liquid collection container (2.5 litres) is now easier to empty. Also, if you always use the Wash it 2 cleaning solution for cleaning, it is designed to evaporate more easily, so that the internal collection tank does not fill up quickly. The new VC-S3 is manufactured in Europe with high quality materials and with an excellent build quality.
