The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 project was born in direct response to the enthusiasm and requests of the international community, passionate about the quality offered by the original DMP-A6 model but eager to push the envelope. With the second generation of the Master Edition, Eversolo enhances an already benchmark platform in the music streaming segment, creating a network player with exclusive technical features, developed with a purist approach and an absolute dedication to audio fidelity.

The entire internal architecture of the device has been redesigned and optimized to eliminate any form of noise or interference and to enhance every nuance of the digital signal. The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 features a new ultra-low-noise power supply, an improved output stage with select components, and a new balanced topology that maximizes transparency and microdynamics.

At the heart of the player is a select pair of ES9038Q2M DACs, used in an independent dual mono configuration, powered by linearly regulated stages isolated from the digital section. This dramatically reduces intermodulation and increases dynamic range, especially when the device is operating in balanced mode. The analog path, after conversion, is handled by a discrete circuit, designed to maintain symmetry, linearity, and constant impedance. The 6-inch IPS touchscreen front panel remains one of the distinguishing features of the Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2, but what really elevates the user experience is the software ecosystem developed by Eversolo. The proprietary operating system allows for extremely fluid and rich direct control, fully navigable from the display or via mobile app.

Major high-resolution streaming services are supported, including Tidal (integrated MQA), Qobuz, Apple Music, Amazon Music HD, Spotify, and Deezer, as well as local file playback via NAS, USB, or internal SSD (with M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 slot up to 4 TB). The audio playback engine is capable of reproducing PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512 natively, as well as ensuring bit-perfect passthrough for MQA content and high-definition master files.

Advanced metadata management includes automatic scraping of artwork, artist information, lyrics, composers, genres, and listening history. The interface also allows for tag editing, smart playlist creation, customization, and library backup.

DSP options are also available, including customizable digital filters for each DAC, phase management, slew rate, and upsampling modes. All these features are accessible without interrupting playback, in real time, with immediate visual feedback and class-leading responsiveness.

The Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 chassis is crafted from a single block of CNC-machined aluminum, sandblasted, and anodized for a smooth, resonance-free, and robust finish. On the back, there are balanced XLR outputs, unbalanced RCA outputs, dual HDMI outputs (one with a dedicated clock for I2S audio), an asynchronous USB DAC input, three USB inputs for external drives, an optical port, a coaxial port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD connectivity. The HDMI output also supports up to 4K video transmission for displaying the GUI on external displays or using the device as a living room media center.

Thanks to support for third-party APIs, it can be integrated into home automation systems, Roon systems, or multi-zone environments. Remote power, time synchronization, and infrared or 12V trigger control are also configurable.
