The compact Genelec 8020C monitoring system is designed for use in a variety of situations. In any case, the small size of the 2-way active monitor does not in any way compromise the quality and balance of the Genelec brand sound reproduction by adopting many of the ingenious innovations to minimize any form of distortion. The Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) function reduces system power consumption to less than 0.5 watts by automatically turning the monitor off when no signal is detected on the inputs for a certain amount of time. As soon as an input audio signal is detected, the system is restarted instantly. This ISS function is compatible with the new EU standards and the ErP 2013 Directive that regulates the consumption of electronic equipment. The monitor features a 4 "(105mm) woofer with a 3/4" (19mm) tweeter with a new advanced waveguide control (DCW). The free frequency response is from 66Hz to 20kHz (± 2.5dB). SPL peak torque is 105dB to 1 meter. Bassie Treble uses 20 watts powered amplifiers.
