MOON 310LP – MM/MC Phono Preamplifier with Balanced Outputs

The MOON 310LP by Simaudio is a high-end phono preamplifier engineered to deliver refined audiophile performance within a compact chassis. Developed as the successor to the acclaimed MOON LP5.3, the 310LP is designed to provide an ultra-low noise floor, exceptional transparency and broad compatibility with high-quality MM and MC cartridges.

The circuitry employs a fully symmetrical design using carefully selected components, extremely short signal paths and multilayer circuit boards with dedicated pure-copper power and ground planes. This architecture improves sonic accuracy, channel separation and overall signal-to-noise performance.

The MOON 310LP offers extensive setup flexibility through adjustable gain, impedance, capacitance and equalization settings. Users can select from four gain levels, five impedance values, three capacitance settings and both RIAA and IEC equalization curves, allowing optimal matching with a wide variety of MM and MC cartridges.

The power supply incorporates proprietary i²DCf (Independent Inductive DC Filtering) technology derived from higher-end MOON products, using dedicated filtering and independent voltage regulation stages to further reduce noise and interference. The result is exceptionally quiet operation with a deep black background, excellent microdynamic performance and outstanding low-level detail retrieval.

Sonically, the MOON 310LP is highly regarded for its neutrality, transparency and tonal naturalness. Bass response is tight and controlled, the midrange exceptionally clean and the soundstage spacious and precisely focused, making it an excellent partner for highly resolving hi-fi and high-end analogue systems.
