The ELAC Varro DS1000 is a premium powered subwoofer from the prestigious Varro Dual Reference Series, engineered to deliver uncompromising low-frequency performance for high-end Hi-Fi and reference-grade Home Theater systems. Featuring a dual-opposed 10-inch driver configuration, a powerful 1000 Watt RMS BASH amplifier and advanced DSP processing, the DS1000 produces exceptionally deep, accurate and highly controlled bass reproduction.

The Dual Opposed architecture employs two 10-inch Sandwich Aluminum drivers equipped with ELAC's proprietary HEX Surround technology. By mounting the drivers in opposing positions, cabinet vibrations are dramatically reduced, resulting in cleaner bass response, lower distortion and exceptional control even at high output levels.

A high-voltage BASH amplifier delivers 1000 Watts RMS and up to 2000 Watts peak power, providing outstanding dynamic capability and complete control of the drivers. Combined with the sealed enclosure design and advanced Dual Core DSP platform, the DS1000 delivers extraordinary bass impact while maintaining remarkable precision and musicality.

The ELAC Sub Control 3.0 platform allows complete system adjustment through a smartphone or tablet. Users can configure volume, crossover frequency, phase, delay, parametric equalization, custom presets and Auto EQ room correction directly from the listening position.

The heavily braced 36 mm cabinet with elegant High Gloss Black finish minimizes unwanted resonance and enhances overall acoustic performance. With in-room extension reaching down to 14 Hz and maximum output levels of 115 dB, the Varro DS1000 delivers true reference-class bass performance for the most demanding listening environments.
