The Q Acoustics Q SUB80 is the most compact model in the new Q SUB Series, engineered to deliver deep, fast and exceptionally controlled bass performance in compact to medium-sized listening rooms. Featuring a powerful 203 mm (8") long-throw driver, a high-efficiency Class D amplifier with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and a rigid sealed enclosure, the Q SUB80 is the perfect partner for Hi-Fi stereo systems, active speakers and premium Home Cinema installations.

Unlike conventional ported subwoofers, the Q SUB80 employs an Infinite Baffle (sealed) enclosure. This design delivers tighter, faster and more accurate bass reproduction while minimizing unwanted overhang and port noise. The result is a clean, articulate low-frequency response that integrates naturally with both bookshelf and floorstanding loudspeakers.

The amplifier section has been developed exclusively by Q Acoustics and uses four parallel Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) digital power stages. Combined with sophisticated DSP control, this architecture maximizes efficiency, improves driver control and minimizes distortion, delivering up to 400 Watts of peak power while maintaining excellent musical accuracy even during demanding passages.

Advanced DSP technology continuously monitors system performance, optimizing frequency response and protecting the driver under all operating conditions. The intelligent electronics automatically adapt the input sensitivity to the connected source, making installation quick and effortless. Adjustable low-pass crossover, phase control and delay settings allow the Q SUB80 to integrate seamlessly into virtually any stereo or multichannel audio system.

The cabinet is constructed from 18 mm MDF with a substantial 36 mm front baffle and extensive internal bracing to eliminate unwanted vibrations and cabinet coloration. This rigid construction allows the long-throw woofer to operate with exceptional precision, producing powerful yet controlled bass that enhances both music and movie soundtracks without overwhelming the rest of the system.
