The Q Acoustics Q SUB100 is the mid-sized model in the new Q SUB Series, engineered to deliver deep, powerful and exceptionally controlled bass for premium Hi-Fi and Home Cinema systems. Combining a high-performance 254 mm (10") long-throw driver, a powerful Class D amplifier with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and a rigid sealed enclosure, the Q SUB100 achieves an outstanding balance between compact dimensions, impressive low-frequency extension and remarkable musical accuracy.

The Infinite Baffle (sealed) cabinet design has been chosen to prioritise speed, precision and control over conventional ported designs. By eliminating port turbulence and unwanted resonances, the sealed enclosure delivers tighter, faster bass with excellent transient response, while also making placement within a listening room easier and more flexible.

The amplifier module has been developed entirely by Q Acoustics and integrates the power supply, DSP and amplification stage into a single high-efficiency platform. Using a Parallel Bridge-Tied Load (PBTL) architecture with four digital output stages, the amplifier delivers 250 Watts RMS and up to 500 Watts peak power, maintaining extremely low distortion while providing exceptional control over the long-throw woofer even during the most demanding movie soundtracks and musical passages.

The advanced DSP continuously optimises the system's performance by automatically adapting gain to the incoming signal level, ensuring consistent bass performance regardless of the connected source. Adjustable low-pass crossover from 40 Hz to 250 Hz, together with variable phase and delay controls, allows seamless integration with virtually any loudspeaker system, whether used in stereo or multichannel applications.

The 10-inch driver features a rigid steel chassis, a paper cone, durable rubber surround and a 38 mm voice coil equipped with an aluminium demodulation ring to minimise inductance-related distortion. The cabinet is constructed from 18 mm high-density MDF with a substantial 36 mm front baffle and extensive internal bracing, creating an exceptionally inert enclosure that allows the driver to deliver clean, powerful and highly controlled bass performance.
