The Chord ShawlineX Turntable Cable is a high-end analogue interconnect developed by The Chord Company specifically for connecting turntables, phono stages and hi-fi amplifiers. Engineered to preserve the integrity, microdynamics and natural character of delicate cartridge signals, this cable represents a substantial upgrade over conventional phono interconnects.

Based on proprietary ARAY technology, the ShawlineX uses high-purity silver-plated OFC copper conductors combined with advanced XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) insulation, developed by Chord Company to improve dielectric stability, reduce noise and enhance timing precision and musical coherence.

The sophisticated wide-band composite shielding structure effectively reduces RF and EMI interference generated by routers, switching power supplies, streamers and electronic devices commonly found in modern listening environments. The low-capacitance design also helps preserve the fragile phono signal, improving transparency, detail retrieval and background silence.

Chord VEE 3 connectors plated with ChorAlloy™ ensure excellent conductivity and minimal signal loss, while the separate grounding lead with spade termination helps eliminate hum and grounding noise typically associated with analogue turntable connections. Available with RCA connectors or dedicated straight and right-angle tonearm terminations, ShawlineX is compatible with a wide range of hi-fi turntables and tonearms.
