Pro-Ject Dedicates a Turntable to Charlie Brown and Peanuts

The special series of Pro-Ject turntables have so far been dedicated to the world of music, famous artists or specific albums, but this time the tribute goes to a comic strip, Peanuts and their protagonist Charlie Brown.

The reason is the anniversary, next October 2nd, of the 75th anniversary of the release of the first comic strip featuring the shy Charlie Brown, the mischievous Lucy with her brother Linus inseparable from his blanket, the inimitable dog Snoopy, the eccentric bird Woodstock, the very serious Schroeder always at the piano keyboard and the red-haired girl, the unattainable secret love of the protagonist.

All characters that we find on the turntable, whose base is in fact covered by a series of strips from the comic strip. For the protagonist, however, there is almost inevitably the turntable mat that exactly reproduces his round face.

From a technical point of view, the limited edition turntable takes on the characteristics and functions of the already known T1 BT, therefore manual operation, belt drive, glass platter, Ortofon OM10 cartridge already mounted, integrated phono pre-amp that can be excluded and Bluetooth wireless transmission to connect it directly to headphones or active speakers.
