SOUNDBOKS BATTERYBOKS is the interchangeable spare battery for all speakers in the SOUNDBOKS catalog: GO and 4.

For those who use it intensively, for professionals, venues, events, it's always good to have an extra battery on hand in case of need. It can be replaced in an instant. 40 hours of playback at medium volume, 5-10 hours at maximum volume depending on the model.

The BATTERYBOKS is a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery of 12.8V. These batteries are known for their long lifespan, thermal stability, and safety, especially compared to other types of lithium-ion batteries.

Internal and external components can handle temperatures from -10 to +40 °C (+14 to +104 °F), allowing you to use your SOUNDBOKS in virtually any climate. With a clever attachment system developed by the manufacturer, the BATTERYBOKS fits perfectly into the dedicated slot in your speaker. The cable is external, and the battery's "barrel" shaped connector inserts into the battery for a practical and secure connection.

The BATTERYBOKS with all SOUNDBOKS provides autonomy without power for about 40 hours at medium volume. In maximum volume use, with Soundboks 4, the duration drops to about 6 hours, 10 hours with Soundboks GO, about 5 hours with SOUNDBOKS 3, and 8 hours with SOUNDBOKS 2nd generation. Note: Duration also depends on the amount of low frequencies reproduced and DSP usage. Although not recommended by the manufacturer, it is possible to insert the charger into SOUNDBOKS while a battery is inserted.

SOUNDBOKS has indeed been designed to operate on battery power. For better battery lifespan, the manufacturer suggests disconnecting the battery when it is fully charged.

Autonomy always under control! Press the button on the top of the battery to display the illumination of the five LEDs that will indicate the charge level. During charging, the LEDs will show you how much is left until full charge. Full recharge takes about 3 and a half hours.
