REGA AETHOS

New Rega Aethos integrated amplifier.

Housed in a new, specially designed cabinet. It utilizes 4 output transistors of 160W and 16A per channel, ensuring 156 Watts per channel into 6 Ohms.

The dual-mono circuit uses a specific toroidal transformer and regulated power supplies for the critical amplification and drive stages. The preamplifier stage uses an entirely Class A circuitry with discrete components. The Aethos is an uncompromising product with a single goal: to deliver your music as faithfully as possible. Built to Rega's highest standards of reliability and quality to ensure many years of musical enjoyment.

Rega has taken the inspiring principles of the award-winning and highly acclaimed Elex-R and Elicit-R, raising the performance level to an even higher level with an all-FET and discrete component line amplifier, polypropylene capacitors throughout the signal path, and a high-current output stage that includes four 160W Sanken output transistors for each channel.

The headphone output has been integrated so that the selection with the speakers is done via the Mute relay so as not to interfere with the signal circuit and not to degrade the sound quality. All this has earned the Rega Aethos 5 stars from Hi-Fi Choice!
